7 things you need to know from Black Panther Movie

BLACK PANTHER

Directed by: Ryan Coogler

Starring: Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan

  1. Jaguars on the mountain top

At the edge of your success certain enemies will stand against you without minding what you think or say and they owe you no apology about it.

Despite the fact that every other tribe had refused to challenge T’Challa to the throne, M’Baku chose to challenge T’Challa on the day of his coronation... you can choose to fear such enemies or choose to knock them out of your way

  1. Leadership comes with great responsibilities

Being a leader comes with hard work and sacrifice; sitting on big chairs is not a comfort zone but a big responsibility; certain characteristics come with leadership.

In order to rule Wakanda, T’Challa had to prove his strength as a king by fighting and defeating M’Baku... there is a high level of competition in the world today and as a leader you’d have to stand up to the other leaders, meet up with the competition if you want respect and victory, just as T’Challa did

  1. Never bend protocols

Protocols are not to be bended or broken in favour of anybody. T’Challa had a mission in South Korea which was to bring back Klaue dead or alive; he failed to do so because he allowed delay by handing over his captive to Agent Ross, thereby giving Killmonger enough time to come rescue Klaue. He failed his mission because he went as the merciful and understanding king of Wakanda instead of going as the black panther; strike, capture and retire to Wakanda... that single failure cost him a lot.

Never bend protocols for people; also know when to mean business and not go soft on people, in other words, know how to say NO to certain requests

  1. Never underestimate your rivals

The moment you underestimate an opponent or contender your mind creates a low profile and weak defence against such people and it will take a while for your mind to adjust when they strike you unaware with a force much greater than what you expected.

T’Challa knew very little about killmonger and even advised him to quit the challenge before it began, believing that killmonger would be an easy defeat; how wrong he was... killmonger defeated him and almost took his life

  1. One good turn deserves another

What do you think would have happened to T’Challa if he had killed M’Baku; after T;Challa was defeated by killmonger, he was hurled down a waterfall but T’Challa’s life was saved by the Jabari Tribe; M’Baku preserved T’Challa in a way that looked like Cryogenical preservation

  1. Taking risk and exploiting weak points

One major knowledge every leader must have is the ability to take risk as well as taking advantage of your rivals’ weak point; this can serve you victory

T’Challa took Killmonger into the vibranium mine, despite how risky it was; to him it was an opportunity to kill Killmonger. The battle in the vibranium train rail; the light panels on the rails known as Sonic stabilizers were built to temporarily deactivate vibranium activity thereby affecting the black panther suits of T’Challa and Killmonger and exposing their mortal bodies; T’Challa exploited this weak moment and killed Killmonger... it was a calculative risk

  1. No room for quitters

You ought not quit, it’s better to fight to the end and lose than quit half way... killmonger never quit his fight against T’Challa till death.

Great men prefer to die trying than quit... Adolf hitler lost the war but the world will never forget him in a hurry... your ability to fight for what you believe without halting is what the world will respect...
